Sorry to cut you off.

Well I have arrived in Canberra. I actually just got to my room and got my bed made, so I haven't had a chance to look around yet. The bus ride to Moss Vale was very interesting. We went up this hill/ small mountain in a very windy road. There were times that traffic coming from the other direction had to stop because the bus couldn't turn that sharp. It was also some very steep ditches or whatever you would call it on a big hill. But the trees and the view was amazing. I was actually getting a little motion sickness because it was so twisty and so high. I had a one hour wait in Moss Vale and then caught the train to Canberra. The view on the train was also amazing. I was thinking about checking out flights to Melbourne but have decided that I will be taking a bus or train. Yes I know it is so much longer, but I think that is the whole point. I want to see Australia, not just the big cities. And I have nothign but time right now. While I was on the train I got a phone call from my long distance relative Erich. He was very excited to get a hold of me, since we have been trying since I have arrived to connect. He was away for the weekend and wanted to tell me all about his sun burn. He asked when I would be coming back his way and I said I wasn't sure. Now I am not sure where to go. I could go visit him for a few days and then maybe head to Melbourne or I could wait and just see him when I head up the gold coast. I was planning on staying in Melbourne for awhile and maybe even hitting Adelaide. Well I have a few days in Canberra to figure it out I guess.

Oh and I forgot, while I was on the train I spotted my first kangaroo!!! Well actually there were three of them together. I have not seen any spiders yet, but hear many stories in the evenings from other people I have met. The other day I saw a tiny little lizard, it was gross but quiet normal I guess.

Until next time,
Cindy

Dylan and Riley are super excited that you saw a kangaroo! They have some questions for you about things in Australia, but we will maybe email you those.

Love ya, tour lots for me!

Good Idea on wanting to take the bus or train....and I would have been jumping up and down about the Kangaroos!

I just hope the spider stories are fake!
