As most of you may know I am home now. I arrived home on May 30th in the morning. I decided to come home because I ran out of money and didn't even have enough to last another week if I had gotten a job right away. I am sad to be home, in one sense I felt ready to come home, yet I also don't want to be here. Not that I want to be in Australia, but I am not that content to be back in Brandon. My flight home was sort of a shit show. The flight from Sydney to LA was delayed by about 4 hours. Because of this I missed my connecting flight to Vancouver. But I did end up sitting beside a nice guy on the flight and we chatted most of the flight. He was going to Phoenix for work. So I highly doubt I will ever see him again. When I arrived in LA the line up at customs was huge so it took a long time. Then they had to redirect a lot of the passengers that were on the flight because we all missed our connections. They had me booked to stay in a hotel and then fly to Vancouver in the morning then Winnipeg. I didn't want to get home to Brandon late Saturday night since it was a surprise and my aunt and uncle were coming to visit my mom. So I asked if they could find me a flight to Calgary, and then I could just stay over there and fly to Winnipeg in the morning. They said they didn't and booked me on a flight at 10:30pm to Toronto. I arrived in Toronto at 7am, and then flew to Winnipeg arriving around 10am. Mom met me at the airport and we rushed home so we wouldn't miss Don and Faye. No one knew I was coming home so it was a good surprise when David and Hailey walked in. David looked completely shocked! Monique didn't come over with him because she had a friend in town she hadn't seen in a while. We met her for brunch the next morning. David didn't tell her I was home so she was surprised to see me as well. We spent the day just hanging out and catching up. Bobbi had been away for the weekend and didn't get home until late Sunday night. On Monday morning I went to her door. She didn't answer so I had to call her and tell her to go to the door. She was still in bed, since they had gotten home so late. She was so shocked to see me she even cried. London greeted me with a big smile, I am hoping it is because she remembered how much fun we had in Cairns. We spent the morning visiting and then went for a Starbucks. I guess I was spotted at Starbucks because the word had reached my Nioxin manager that I was home. I called her after a few days to let her know. I still haven't called all my friends, simply because I'm in denial. It is cold here so I pray that I will wake up in a hostel bed in Cairns with a wallet full of money. I know crazy dreams. Anyway this is my official "Hello" to everyone. I am back in Canada. See you all soon.
Until next time,
Cindy
