Aren't I ridiculous?? I told you I would update my blog on a more regular basis and I have not at all. I do apologize and again will try my best to keep up with it.
Well whats happening with me? I am sitting at home, on my couch. The TV is on, Jeremy is in the washroom, but I am sure he will come out any second, give me a kiss and then play one of his computer games. The Christmas lights are on inside and out, and the tree looks amazing!! Our fish are swimming around forgetting everything that has happened in the last 10 seconds. It is a rather boring evening in the Mantei / Lamy house hold. We just got home from a walk to the store. We went to the pet store to get some weekend food for the fish. We are going to Brandon this weekend to see the family. We are also going to cut some firewood, and I am attending a hair/art evening at one of the local salons. And then of course Sunday is a big day for Jeremy. Grey Cup Sunday featuring the Saskatchewan Roughriders. We will likely come home on Sunday morning so that we don't miss any of the game in the afternoon. Should be lots of fun!
Now lets get to the things that bother me. lol. First off I think black Friday is ridiculous. Stores opening at 3am just to make a few extra bucks. Seems so stupid to me. I think what bugs me is that some poor suckers have to be at work for like 2:30am just to make that company money. I highly doubt they are getting paid any extra cash. Also, I doubt that the smart ass who thought of opening at 3am is going to be there to open the doors. But this does not directly affect me so I guess I should stop worrying about it. The second thing that bugs me is gifts. I must say... I like gifts. I like receiving and giving gifts. I like knowing that I have put thought into giving a gift. I like seeing the smile (hopefully) and the thankfulness in that other person when I give them a gift. Plus I love wondering what they got me. You can't tell me that you don't enjoy getting gifts... everyone does! It's not about the money. I love thoughtful cheap gifts, they are simply the best. It means that the gift giver has put some real thought into what I would like. So this is all I am going to say on this subject. I don't want to type something I will regret later.
Until next time,
Cindy
