Well I finally got a phone call about a job. I have an interview on Saturday Feb. 15th for a job at a clothing store over the Christmas season. If I get the job I will be here over Christmas, since it is a Christmas casual position and only a temporary job. If I don't get it, I will be moving on.
This morning I was awaken early with a text message from my sister saying that my uncle died. I knew that he had been sick but was surprised to hear of his death. My heart goes out to his kids and grand kids. I understand he was not an easy man to be around but the fact that he is gone is still sad. I remember when I was a teenager thinking he was my favorite uncle. He was always very nice to me even when he didn't get along with my dad. I have fond memories of him and know they will always stay with me. I know he is in a better place, and was welcomed there by my dad and his other siblings. Rest in peace Carl.
